Who Needs Driver's Education?
Everyone! The laws and regulations that govern our streets are changing frequently, so it's always a good idea to take driver's education to refresh your knowledge. Also, it will often result in a substantial discount on your automobile insurance. Check with your insurance company to find out what discounts they offer for different classes.
REQUIREMENTS TO GET YOUR PERMIT:
The State of Colorado REQUIRES driver's education for younger drivers before they can get their driving permit:
If you are under 15 ½ years old, you must complete the 30-hour comprehensive course.
If you are between the ages of 15 ½ and 16, you can take either the 4-hour Driver's Awareness course or the 30-hour comprehensive course.
After you turn 16, you are no longer required to take classes in order to get your permit.
